School Office Opens

Time: All Day

Welcome to the 2019/20 school year. Our office opens at 8:30 am.

First Rider Night

Time: 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Parents who have children that will be riding a bus for the first time are encouraged to take advantage of a Free Bus Ride with Mom and/or Dad. Families will gather in the Gym at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27 for a short presentation by the Transportation Department and then board a bus for short trip(about 5 minutes) in the community. This may help your child on their first day to school on the bus. Plan for about 30 minutes. Register by sending an email to transportation@gsacrd.ab.ca.

Welcome Back to School Event

Time: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Drop in anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. Come and meet your new teacher(s) and meet some new classmates. Share an ice-cream treat. Drop off your books or pick up your School Tools order. Clothing samples for new Spirit Wear will be available.

First Day of Classes K-9

Time: All Day

First day of classes K-9. Students in kindergarten start on either September 3 or 4.

Staggered Kindergarten Entry

Time: All Day

Kindergarten students will attend on either Sept. 3 or Sept. 4. The first full day with the whole class will be on Sept. 5.

Spirit Week/Welcome Week

Time: All Day

Our Royals Leadership team has many special activities planned to show your Knights Spirit!

Jr. High Travel Club Meeting

Time: 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Come and find out about the possibility of a Travel Club for students in Junior High next school year and a possible trip to the Maritimes in May of 2020.

Time: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Witness the unveiling of the two tile murals that have been created to honor the legacy of Sister Alphonse and Catholic Education in the area.
