Sister Alphonse Academy has children/families that are members of St. Albert Parish and children/families who are members of Holy Family Parish. St. Albert Parish is considered the Home Parish for SAA as the school is located on the west side of St. Albert. We will try to provide information and updates for both parishes on our school website and our weekly bulletins.
Sacramental Preparation for children and adults is provided by the Parish. The school provides support by providing information and links through the Religion program.
-First Eucharist is usually celebrated with children age seven or grade two in the Archdiocese of Edmonton. First Reconciliation is normally celebrated before First Eucharist.
-Confirmation is usually celebrated with children in grade six in the Archdiocese of Edmonton. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Confirmation is an important sacrament of strengthening for your child and it equips them for their spiritual journey.
