Our committee has grown by a couple of parents. Over the last few weeks we have been exploring ideas and structures that could be included in our playground planning. We are currently working on an RFP Draft(Request for Pricing) that will have playground companies provide bids for the installation of our playground equipment. Stay tuned for more information.

Update - May 24/18

We are pleased to inform you that we received bids from five companies to design and install playground spaces at Sister Alphonse this summer. Our Committee is reviewing all bids and hopes to award the contract by May 30. Our goal of having a playground installed by the beginning of September is still on track!

Update - June 14/18

We are pleased to inform you that KID NATION has been selected to supply and install equipment for two play areas at Sister Alphonse Academy. We are confident that if the weather cooperates we will have two play structures ready for our students in September! The Playground Committee has worked very closely with representatives of the City of St. Albert's Parks and Recreation to move our project along in a timely manner, we are most thankful for their support and guidance. Current timelines indicate that the structure and work on the playground structure areas will begin in August. The City of St. Albert is coordinating the sodding of the field.
